Groundbreaking – David and Pauline Jarrell Center City Garden

Attend the ceremonial groundbreaking for the David and Pauline Jarrell Center City Garden to occur Saturday, April 29 at 10:30 am.
The event will be held at the future home of the Garden, located on S. Cox Street between Worth Street and E. Academy Street.
Parking will be available at Central Church – Asheboro (CUMC), Randolph County, NC Central Permitting, and the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce parking lots
S. Cox Street will be closed to thru traffic within this block from about 9:15 am until after 2 pm for pedestrian safety.
In addition to the groundbreaking ceremony, the day will include opportunities to walk the property and learn more about the garden’s planned features. Those interested also can pre-register for activities to occur following the groundbreaking intended to grow public awareness of the facility.
