ASHEBORO NC – A local man is facing ten felony charges after a tip to the Sheriff’s Office.
According to a press release, The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) received information from an international source that an individual by the name of Randall Keith Allen was possessing/distributing numerous child pornography files. That tip started an investigation and on May 4, 2021, detectives seized digital devices from Allen’s residence.
On May 11, 2021, warrants for Allen’s arrest were obtained for ten counts of Felony Second Degree Exploitation of a Minor. He was taken into custody the same day by the Randolph County Criminal Apprehension Team and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center.
