Burn Ban Lifted For 67 Counties (Including Randolph) At Noon Today

ASHEBORO N.C. — Effective today at noon the NC Forestry Service and the Randolph County, NC – Effective at 12 p.m. Monday, December 13, the N.C. Forest Service and the Randolph County Fire Marshal have lifted the ban on all open burning for Randolph County.

As of 12 p.m., burn permits are available in Randolph County. You can obtain a burn permit from any authorized permitting agent or online at www.ncforestservice.gov/burnpermit. All burn permits previously issued in Randolph County prior to the ban were cancelled. A new, valid permit must be obtained prior to burning.
