Three Injured In Asheboro Shooting

ASHEBORO N.C. (ACME NEWS) – Detectives and CSI are on the scene of a shooting where three people were injured this afternoon.

A press release from the Asheboro Police Department says at around 4:30 pm, patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Coleridge Road near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in reference to a shooting. Arriving officers found 3 victims, a 19 year old male and two juveniles who had all been shot.

All individuals were transported to a local medical facility. Two of the shooting victims were subsequently airlifted to another medical facility. The names and condition of those victims has not yet been released.
