Asheboro Police VICE/Narcotics Make Arrest Following Search Warrant

ASHEBORO NC – A local man is in jail awaiting a court date after being arrested last week following a search warrant at a home in Asheboro.

On March 22nd, 2023, the Asheboro Police Departments VICE/ Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Asheboro.

During that search police say they located approximately 17.2 grams of crack cocaine, Suboxone strips, assorted drug paraphernalia, and $336. 92 in US currency.

The homeowner, identified by police as Reginald Cleve Dunn was arrested and transported to the Randolph County where he was taken before &magistrate who found probable cause for his arrest for multiple drug related charges and was given a $50,000 secured bond.

Dunn was also served with a warrant for failure to appear for a prior charge of Possession of Firearm by Felon and is currently confined at the Randolph County Jail awaiting a court date in Randolph County District Court on April 3rd, 2023.
