Surveyor Working in North Asheboro Robbed at Gunpoint

ASHEBORO N.C. – A surveyor working in North Asheboro earlier this week was robbed at gunpoint according to police.

According to a report by the Asheboro Police Department on March 20th, 2023, at 11:57pm, officers responded to Ravenwood Dr located in the Franklin Village Mobile Home Park off North Fayetteville St in North Asheboro after receiving a report of a robbery.

Officers spoke with the victim who stated he was working as a surveyor in the area for USIC, an underground utility company. The worker told police he was approached by two white males who pulled out a gun and held him at gunpoint while they stole several personal items and a bookbag containing survey equipment.

The suspects were last seen by the victim heading towards Ashewood Cir. Police searched the area but were not able to locate any suspects.
