Hot Glass Cold Beer

The glass artists at Starworks will put on their first fiery demonstration of 2024 on Thursday, January 11 at 5:30pm. Hot Glass Cold Beer is a monthly glass demonstration that runs September – May with special guest artists, live music, rotating food trucks, and beer & wine. This is a family friendly event for all ages. Tickets are $5 at StarworksNC.org.

Joining the event will be singer-songwriter Wake Moody who will perform following the 5:30pm demonstration. Live music continues through 9pm in the Starworks Café & Taproom. Starworks Cafe has a large selection of hot and cold beverages, locally crafted wines, beer, pastries, locally prepared sandwiches, desserts and other snacks available for purchase.

Starworks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, that focuses on providing high quality educational programming in glass, ceramics, and metal arts. Starworks is also host to a Ceramic Supply Shop, Café & Taproom, and the School House Gallery; All open to the public. Artists worldwide can apply for Starworks internships and residencies that offer space, time, and access to state of the art resources that will aid artists in all stages of their career with advancing their skills and developing a professional network. Starworks is located at 100 Russell Drive in Star, just off I-73/74 in northern Montgomery County.
