Community invited to learn about Apprenticeship Randolph as it kicks off Apprenticeship Week with Community Night at RCC
On Tuesday, Nov. 14, Apprenticeship Randolph (AR) will be hosting Apprenticeship Randolph Community Night in the JB and Claire Davis Corporate Training Center on Randolph Community College’s Asheboro Campus for all interested students, parents/guardians, and community members to come and speak to AR companies and their apprentices about opportunities in 2024. The floating event is from 5-7 p.m. and is free to attend. In addition, tours of the advanced manufacturing areas at the College will be available.

With this event, AR is kicking off National Apprenticeship Week, Nov. 13-19. AR employers are looking to sign on and employ students in Computer-Integrated Machining, Industrial Systems Technology-Mechatronics, and Information Technology-Computer Support Specialist career fields. AR apprenticeships offer students who live or attend high school in Randolph County the opportunity to earn a free college degree at RCC, attain workforce credentials, and build a promising career with zero debt while also working and earning money. Students who compete and are signed on to become AR apprentices jumpstart their career in high demand career pathways.
