Friday Night Bluegrass – Caroline Owens

Asheboro Cultural and Recreation Services presents Friday Night Bluegrass at the historic Sunset Theatre on Friday, August 18 th . For the first time, Friday Night Bluegrass welcomes Caroline Owens. The concert begins at 7:00pm. The Sunset Theatre is located at 234 Sunset Avenue in downtown Asheboro.

Friday Night Bluegrass is a reoccurring program of the Sunset Theatre that presents local as well as regional bluegrass talent on the third Friday of the month. This month’s concert will feature Caroline Owens from Denton, NC. Caroline Owens is a 2x IBMA nominated Bluegrass Vocalist and recording artist for Skyline Records of Nashville, TN. She has performed alongside many
accomplished artists such as Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, and Rhonda Vincent just to name a few. Caroline’s vocal abilities, paired with her down-home southern charm, have received critical acclaim from the music industry’s most accomplished performers. She has become one of the most successful, young vocalists in the Bluegrass genre.

Tickets for this performance are $8.00 in advance or $10.00 at the door. Advance tickets are available online at www.SunsetTheatre.org or at the Asheboro Cultural & Recreation Services office located across the street from the Theatre at 241 Sunset Avenue until 5:30pm on the night of the show.
