Police Investigating Shots Fired On MLK

ASHEBORO N.C. - Asheboro Police are investigating after an altercation led to shots being fired on Martin Luther King Jr Drive striking at least one vehicle and a home.
A police report from the Asheboro Police Department shows that on January 10th 2022, at 5:07 P.M. officers responded to the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr Dr after getting calls about multiple shots fired in the area. A total of 6 officers with both the Patrol and Special Enforcement Team (SET) responded to the area. The individuals involved had fled the area, police were able to locate damage to a nearby vehicle and house.
