Mother & Son Injured In House Fire
ASHEBORO NC – A mother and son had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital Wednesday afternoon after escaping a house fire.
Randolph County 911 received a frantic call from the homeowner that her house was on fire at 2:12 PM. Staley Fire Department was dispatched to the house which was on Old Coleridge Rd, close to the Chatham County line and the first engine checked enroute in just slightly over one minute. Responding fire fighters reported seeing smoke from the fire one mile away, and reported flames coming through the roof when they arrived.
