Two Suspects Shot By Homeowner During Possible Home Invasion in Asheboro [Updated]
ASHEBORO N.C. - The Asheboro Police Department says two suspects of a possible home invasion were injured after the homeowner opened fire, hitting them both this morning.
This morning just after 4:30 am, officers with the Asheboro Police Department's patrol division were dispatched to the area of Underwood Street in reference to a 911 hang-up call. The officers learned from 911 that there was a subject with a gunshot wound nearby at 1634 Traci Street.
When officers arrived on Traci Street they located a male at the rear of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A second male, also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, was located a short distance away on Hinshaw Street, according to a press release from the Asheboro Police Department
