ASHEBORO NC – A wanted fugitive out of Louisiana was arrested and faces additional charges. According to a press release on January 21, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 85.
Deputies searched the vehicle which led to the seizure of a firearm and counterfeit currency. The passenger of the vehicle, Tevin Kade Guillory, was also found to be a fugitive out of Louisiana. Guillory was placed under arrest and transported to Randolph County Detention Center where he was charged with Felony Possession of 5+ Counterfeit Instrument and Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. He was also served with his Magistrate’s Order for Fugitive – Possession of Stolen Firearm. He received a $100,000 Secured Bond with a first court appearance in Randolph County District Court on January 22, 2021.
