Suspect Wanted on multiple warrants arrested at traffic stop in stolen car, says RCSO

ASHEBORO — A suspect wanted on four active warrants was arrested at a traffic stop in Trinity on Saturday driving a stolen vehicle, according to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on April 20th, 2024, deputies pulled over a vehicle matching the description of one reported stolen out of Davidson County. The driver, identified by the Sheriff’s Office as Grayson Thor Miller was arrested at the scene. Suspect Wanted in 3 Counties Arrested on Traffic Stop

ASHEBORO N.C. - A suspect who was wanted in three separate counties in connection with larceny charges was arrested on a traffic stop earlier this week. On March 20, 2023, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed a vehicle that matched the description of a suspect vehicle in a recent larceny investigation and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Kennedy Rd., Trinity. Upon approaching the driver’s side, the deputy recognized the driver as the same suspect in that incident. The Sheriff's Office says the driver initially gave a false name but was later identified as Shavon Melissa Kennedy. ASHEBORO N.C. - One man was arrested after leading police on a short chase just after midnight on Monday in Asheboro. According to a police report from the Asheboro Police Department just after midnight on November 28th, 2022, an officer attempted to pull over a on a silver passenger vehicle due to the odor of marijuana near Dublin Rd and NC Hwy 42. The driver refused to pull over and fled the stop leading police on a 3.2 mile vehicle pursuit. Police Say Driver Tried To Toss Stolen Gun During Traffic Stop

That's according to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. They say on on August 7, 2021, deputies pulled over a car on I-73/74 just south of the US 64 Bypass. While the deputy was speaking with the passenger, the driver was seen throwing something it into the tall grassy area on the side of the highway. Traffic Stop Finds Fugitive, Guns, Counterfeit Cash

Tevin Kade Guillory ASHEBORO NC - A wanted fugitive out of Louisiana was arrested and faces additional charges. According to a press release on January 21, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 85. Deputies searched the vehicle which led to the seizure of a firearm and counterfeit currency. The passenger of the vehicle, Tevin Kade Guillory, was also found to be a fugitive out of Louisiana. Guillory was placed under arrest and transported to Randolph County Detention Center where he was charged with Felony Possession of 5+ Counterfeit Instrument and Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
