RCSO Seeks Votes for Aftermath K9 Grant

ASHEBORO N.C. – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is asking for votes as it competes with other departments across the Southeast for a grant to help provide equipment for the agencies K9 division.

On October 24th, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office announced in a press release that their K-9 Unit had been nominated for the Aftermath K9 Grant. Aftermath Services describes itself as “the premier provider of trauma cleaning and biohazard remediation” on its website. The company’s K9 Grant is making $15,000 available to law enforcement, EMS, or other public safety agencies for the creation, maintenance, or growth of a K9 unit.

The Sheriff’s Office says the grant will help provide for the needs (such as equipment, etc.) of the
K9 Team. That is if they are selected as one of the winners.

The voting period began on October 24, 2022, and is set to end at 10:59pm EST on October 31. Anyone who is a legal resident of the United States who are 13 years of age or older with a valid email address or social media account can cast a vote for the department.

Currently there are two ways to vote.

  1. Online: Tell your friends, family, and community about the Aftermath K9 Grant to encourage
    more votes. Eligible voters may vote once every 24 hours on the designated voting website. Find

  2. Social Media (Facebook (@aftermathcares) and Instagram (@aftermathk9grant))

    – like their daily post
    – comment on the daily post with Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Asheboro, North
    Carolina, to vote for us in the comment section.

The winner(s) will be announced November 3rd, 2022.
