Asheboro Police Dept Patrol Vehicles Vandalized over Weekend

ASHEBORO N.C. – Several patrol vehicles belonging to the Asheboro Police Department were vandalized with spray paint over the weekend.

According to a report from the Asheboro Police Department around 3 pm on Saturday Nov 26th, 2022, a detective noticed and reported that 6 patrol vehicles in the parking lot adjacent to the station on E Academy Street had been vandalized with spray-paint.

Police say that the patrol vehicles in the lot were spare vehicles and that the Criminal Investigations Division is currently investigating the case. No information on motive or suspect(s) has been release at this time.
