“Unknown Shooting” Leaves Two Injured in Asheboro

ASHEBORO N.C. – Police are investigating what they are calling an “unknown” shooting in the early hours of the morning that left two injured.

On November 28, 2022 at approximately 1:02 am officers with the Asheboro Police Department were dispatched to Bennett Street in reference to an unknown gunshot call for service. 

Upon arrival officers located a Hispanic male victim, and a white female victim who sustained wounds as a result of the incident. Police say that both victims were transported to out of county medical facilities for further medical treatment.  The female victim was stabilized, treated, and released.  The status of the Hispanic male victim is unknown at this time.
