ASHEBORO N.C. – This Saturday you can help end hunger by participating in the ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ Food Drive without ever having to leave home.
Organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers, the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is the largest one-day food drive in the country.
On Saturday, May 13, 2023, the public is asked to leave bags of non-perishable food by their mailboxes for local Letter Carriers to collect. You can also drop off food at your local post office.
Once the Letter Carriers return to their Post Offices, volunteers are on-site to unload the food from the postal trucks, sort the food, and load it into Food Bank trucks returning to our branches.
You can see the list of food banks in N.C. the drive supports here.
