ASHEBORO N.C. – An unknown situation is causing delays on I-73/74 near Asheboro as police investigate.
At around 5:40 p.m. on July 22nd, 2023, emergency crews responded to I-73/74 Southbound, near the Pineview exit, for an injured person in the roadway.
One person was transported from the scene with critical injuries to a local trauma center.
Investigators are on the scene now and traffic delays are expected in the area.
