ASHEBORO N.C. – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public to identify a suspect who robbed the Mountain View Market in Sophia.
On February 11th, 2024, around 08:48 a.m. the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to the business of Mountain View Market, located at 3712 Caraway Mtn Rd in Sophia for a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
According to a press release, the store clerk reported a black male entered the business and walked behind the counter demanding money.
The suspect was wearing black pants, a green hoodie, and black shoes and left in a black passenger car with tinted windows, last seen driving down Green Farm Rd.
