Lantern Rescue of Asheboro, NC is pleased to announce the first annual Rescue Run 5k and human trafficking awareness event. The event will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 9 am to 1 pm, in beautiful downtown Asheboro at Bicentennial Park.
The event will include a 5k run/walk, food trucks, live music, educational booths, guest speakers from the law enforcement community, including Randolph County Sheriff Gregory Seabolt, and
those who have taken the fight against human trafficking to the front lines.
