Be the Light 5K & Holiday Event at Creekside Park

Be the Light Holiday Event

Join us for our new Holiday event! We are partnering with Serco and Run 5 Feed 5 to provide a magical night in the park on December 3rd.  This is a huge family event where everyone can be the light (in a childs eye on Christmas morning, for a hungry family, for those who need a little assistance). EVERYONE ENTERING THE PARK AFTER 4PM WILL HAVE TO USE THE MOSE DRIVE ENTRANCE!

5K Run/Walk Admission: $30 pp or group discount. Please click here to register.

Admission for those not participating in the 5K: Unwrapped toy or non perishable food item(s).

4:30 – 7:30pm Join us for the City Tree Lighting, Pictures with Santa and the Grinch, Food Trucks, Crafts for Kids, Roasting Marshmallows, Cookies with Mrs. Claus, Caroling, Warm cocoa and cider, and more!

• 4:30pm Be the Light 5K (Register here) Run/walk among the luminary lit trail. This 5K benefits Run 5 Feed 5 and Archdale Trinity Serco. Both are 501C-3 non-profits who assist our local community.
• 5:30pm City Tree Lighting ceremony
• 5:45pm Candy Cane Hunt for ages 0 – 12
• 6:30pm Candy Cane Hunt for ages 0 – 12
• 7:00pm Candy Cane Hunt for ages 0 – 12

We ask that kids only participate in one hunt so everyone can have a chance. Thank you.
