ASHEBORO N.C. - An armed individual who fled from police earlier this week was arrested and is now facing multiple charges. That's according to the Randolph Couty Sheriff's Office who says on May 1st, 2023, their deputies responded to Harlow Rd, in the Archdale area, in reference to a reported armed person. Randolph County 911 advised the deputies enroute that an armed suspect had left the scene and provided a description of the vehicle. According to a press release, a deputy responding to the area located the suspect vehicle on Harlow near Tuttle Rd and attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. On May 1st, 2023, at around 5pm, Randolph County 911 received a call that a female was armed with a handgun and threating to shoot another individual. A total of nine officers with the Asheboro Police Department responded to the scene and spoke with the victims who indicated they were walking through the yard of a residence on East Dorsett Avenue when a female from the residence threatened them with a handgun.
