‘Riddin-Dirty’ – Suspects Arrested After Failed Larceny Thwarted When Stolen Vehicle Gets Stuck In Mud
ASHEBORO N.C. - Police say they arrested two people who are now facing felony charges after their attempt to flee from a failed larceny was thwarted when their stolen vehicle got stuck in the mud.
On February 18, 2022,The Randolph County Sheriff's Office responded to a larceny at a business on Hwy 64 E. According to the press release from Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, police were informed that two people were attempting to steal from a business but were stopped and then proceeded to flee from the scene. A nearby officer, who was responding to a suspicious person's call around the same time and near the location of the larceny, spotted the two people standing beside a white tanker truck that was stuck in the mud.
