ASHEBORO N.C. - Registration is now open for the annual Junior Amateur Golf Tournament in early August. The Asheboro Municipal Golf Course will be hosting the annual Junior Amateur Golf Tournament on August 5th and August 6th, 2023. The tournament is open to any junior golfer between 7-18 years of age. Participants will be divided into three age divisions that will be determined based on the number of entrants. The entry fee is $25 for all players, which includes two rounds of golf (the number of holes in each round will be proportional to each age group) and winning trophies. Youth Golf Lessons The lessons are open to any youth golfer between 6 and 14 years of age. Participants will be able to choose between two sessions. Session one will be held June 16th, 22nd and 23rd Session two will take place on July 12th, 19th and 21st. Lessons are offered from 8:00am - 9:30am each day. The cost for each session is $15 for city residents with a current Rec-Card or $20 for non-residents.
