ASHEBORO N.C. - Four suspects who were found in a vacant home in Archdale were arrested last weekend and charged with breaking and entering. On April 29th, 2023, Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress on Zelma Blvd., in Archdale. According to information released by the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, when deputies arrived, they located and detained four suspects who were inside the residence. When deputies contacted the property owner, they advised they were in the process of removing the home and that no one should be inside. ASHEBORO NC - A local man with several warrants for breaking and entering and larceny was located and arrested by police last weekend. On March 25th, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Russell Walker Ave, in Randleman, after hearing a wanted suspect they were attempting to locate was in the area. When deputies arrived, they say they observed Ethan Wayne Stanley fleeing on foot. He was located hiding under an outbuilding and arrested. According to the Sheriff's Office, during a search following the arrest, marijuana and paraphernalia were in his possession. Stanley was issued a citation for marijuana before being transported to the Randolph County jail, where methamphetamine was located during the booking process. On December 10, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Koonce Dr., in Trinity, for a call about a suspicious person. On May 21, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Hillsdale Park Drive, in Sophia, after getting a call about a breaking and entering in progress. The caller told 911 a male subject, who arrived on a moped, was inside the garage. When deputies arrived they saw the suspect attempting to start the moped. The Sheriff's Office says when they approached the suspect he refused to obey verbal commands and attempted to drive away on the moped. ASHEBORO NC - An Asheboro man is facing a long list of charges after a traffic stop for a possible DUI where police say they found evidence connecting him to several other crimes in the stolen car he was driving.  According to a press release by the Randolph County Sherriff's Office on May 23, 2021, shortly after midnight, the deputies responded to Oakland Ave in Asheboro after receiving a call about a breaking/entering that had occurred earlier. The deputies met with the victim who gave them a list of missing items which included several banking cards.
