Mother Arrested & Child Located Safe In Climax
ASHEBORO N.C. - A child that was reported abducted is back with her father and the mother is behind bars this afternoon, all thanks to a tip.

On Monday, December 6, 2021, at approximately 10: 30 pm deputies responded to a Missing Person report on an address on Benny Lineberry Rd. in Climax, NC, Matthew Pierce reported that his 1-year-old child, Ava Pierce was taken by her mother, Roxanne Michelle Parson, during a visit on December 1, 2021. Parson’s parental rights had been terminated. An alert was sent out with anyone who had any information asked to call 911, the sheriff's office or crimestoppers.
