Two People Injured in Shooting / Vehicle Crash in Asheboro
ASHEBORO N.C. - Two people were taken to the hospital overnight after crashing into another car while thier vehicle was being shot at according to police.
At around 10:45 pm on April 16th, 2023, officers were called to Coleridge Rd in Asheboro for a report of gunshots fired in the area.
While officers were enroute they were advised that multiple shots had been fired at a vehicle which led to it crashing into another vehicle. 911 operators advised one of the callers said they had been shot and were still in the vehicle, according to a police report.
When police arrived, they found a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Coleridge Rd and Martin Luther King Jr Dr.
