RCSO: Traffic Stop finds Evidence of Robbery
ASHEBORO N.C. - A traffic stop in Asheboro last week discovered evidence of a robbery and led to the arrest of a driver and a passenger.
On January 18, 2023, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Doris Acres St. near Grantville Ln., in Asheboro.
According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, during a search of the vehicle, deputies located paraphernalia and US Currency along with an empty Domino’s Pizza deposit bag in the possession of one of the passengers, identified as Stephanie Nichole Langley.
During the investigation, deputies discovered that the bag belonged to Dominos in Robbins. The Robbins Police Department was contacted and reported that a larceny had been reported by that business.
