Stabbing at Dunham’s in Asheboro Sends One to Hospital

ASHEBORO N.C. - One person was taken to the hospital after a reported stabbing at the Randolph Mall Tuesday evening.
On April 25th, 2023, at around 6:15 pm, police were called to the Dunham's Sports store at the Randolph Mall for a report of a stabbing.
According to Robbie Brown, Assistant Chief of Police with the Asheboro Police Department, the victim reported he was assaulted by several black males while in the business.
The victim was transported to a local medical facility for treatment, no update on their condition is available at this time and no information about the individuals involved can be released due to their age.
Brown says the case has been assigned to a detective in Criminal Investigations Division.
