Sheriff’s Office Seizes Firearm from Student at ERHS

Eastern Randolph High School (Archive Photo / Acme News) RAMSEUR N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office says they are investigating after a firearm was seized from a student at Eastern Randolph High School this morning. According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, on the morning of February 16th, 2024, it was reported to Eastern Randolph High School’s School Resource Officer that a juvenile student was on campus with a firearm on their person. The School Resource Officer located the juvenile and searched the juvenile locating a firearm, which was secured without incident and was determined to be unloaded. ASHEBORO NC - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office has placed a decal in the hood of two of two if’s patrol vehicles and the rear window of another in the memory of Sandy Bradshaw as well all the brave first responders who died in the 2001 terrorist attacks on Sept 11th. Sandy Bradshaw (Photo provided by National Park Service) Thirty-eight year old Sandy Waugh Bradshaw, was a native of Climax, North Carolina. Bradshaw was an American flight attendant on board United Airlines Flight 93 during the September 11th attacks. Passengers and crew on the plane learned that planes had crashed into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Bradshaw told her husband that she and other flight attendants were boiling water to toss on the hijackers, before telling him she had to go and that passengers ...
