Man Arrested After Family Fight, Released, Arrested Again Hours Later
ASHEBORO N.C. - A suspect arrested after a family fight where he tried to assault the victims with a knife was arrested just 4 hours later when he returned to the home and threatened the victims with a gun.
According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, On April 10th, 2022, at around 7:00 pm, deputies responded to Acts Temple Dr. in Randleman for a call about a family fight in progress.
When police arrived they say victims and witnesses reported that Ricky Shannon Housand had tried to assault the victim with a knife. Housand was arrested and taken to the Randolph County jail, where the magistrate found probable cause for the charge of misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon.
