ASHEBORO NC - A mother and her three children are safe today after being located in Wayne county following a statewide Amber alert.  On Monday, July 19, 2021, at just before 4 PM officers from the Asheboro Police Department were dispatched to 2421 North Meadows Loop about a missing person.  Olga Diego Hernandez’s family told officers they hadn’t seen her in approximately two months but within the past two days, they and other family members had received text messages from her which caused them to become concerned for her and the three children that were with her.   Detectives from the department’s Criminal Investigations Division opened an investigation and learned Olga Diego Hernandez was possibly in Wayne County, NC. ASHEBORO NC. - A local man was arrested under felony child pornography charges after police executed a search warrant on his home in Seagrove.  According to an press release the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office's Criminal Investigation Division Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) received information that an individual by the they identified as Robbie Ray Snider was possessing/distributing numerous child pornography files. DENTON NC - The Amber Alert issued for a missing 14-year-old from Davidson County has been canceled after she was located and will be returning to North Carolina after a harrowing experience.  Savannah Childress, was reported missing on Feb. 11 from her home in southern Davidson County. An Amber Alert was issued on Feb 15th  Investigators had discovered that Savannah was using her Davidson County Schools issued computer to communicate with an individual using multiple online platforms. As the investigation progressed investigators discovered the same individual was also talking to several other juvenile females in Alamance County.
