Randolph County Association of Fire Chiefs Hosts Firefighter Day

ASHEBORO, N.C. (RAMSEUR FD) – The Randolph County Association of Fire Chiefs is kicking off the 2022 Fire Prevention Week by hosting an annual Firefighter Day on October 8th , 2022. The event will be held in the Randolph County Courthouse parking lot at 176 East Salisbury Street in Asheboro from 9am – 4pm. The majority of fire departments that serve Randolph County, along with Ash-Rand Rescue Squad and EMS will be present with informational displays, apparatus and personnel. North Carolina Forest Service, Smokey Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog will also be in attendance. Fire prevention materials and three hundred smoke alarms will be given away to attendees. Level Cross Fire Department Please join us in congratulating Stephan Arnold for being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.Lt. Arnold has been with Level Cross Fire Department since February of 2019. During his time here, he has done many great things for our agency. A few of the things he has done has been taking on the training officer role, assisted in implementing updated and efficient response plans, and investing a lot of time into getting Rescue 43 ready and in service.
