Local Auto Shop Dealing with Damage after Vehicle Chase ends in Crash
ASHEBORO N.C. - A suspect led Asheboro police on a brief chase before crashing into several vehicles at a local auto repair shop and fleeing the scene earlier this week.
According to a report from the Asheboro Police Department, in the early morning hours of November 15th, 2023, at around 2:30 a.m., an officer on patrol attempted to pull over a silver in color passenger car on E Presnell St. Police say the driver failed to stop leading to a short vehicle chase.
That chase ended after the driver lost control and crashed into several vehicles at Goldston’s Auto Repair on Gold Hill Rd.
