Jason Edward Brown ASHEBORO N.C. - A man was arrested last Wednesday after police say he stole a car and wallet, then used the victim's ID to identify himself.  According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on June 16, 2021, deputies responded to the 8100 block of US-64 W. in Trinity, NC, after receiving a call about a stolen car. The victim said the vehicle was stolen on June 11, 2021, between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm and that a wallet containing their ID and a spare key to the vehicle was also taken.  While investigating deputies were told that the High Point Police Department had located the stolen vehicle in their jurisdiction along with the suspect, Jason Edward Brown.
