TRINITY N.C. - A search warrant issued as a part of a joint investigation located nearly 30,000 Fentanyl pills at a home in Trinity and landed one person in jail. On August 9th, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Unit and Criminal Interdiction Team, Asheboro Police Department’s Vice Unit, and the Department of Homeland Security's Investigation division (HSI), executed a search warrant on a residence located at 6503 Bellawood Dr. in Trinity. According to a press release, that search located approximately 28,400 Fentanyl pills that weighed approximately 12.5 pounds, along with U.S. Currency. As a result, Robert Gurung was arrested and transported to Randolph County Jail where the magistrate found probable cause for the multiple felony drug and trafficking charges. ...

According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriffs Office, on August 9th, 2022, at approximately 3:12 pm, a citizen near the 400 block of Providence Church Rd., in Randleman called Randolph County 911 after finding what they believed to be pipe bombs. According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office on April 13th and 14th, 2022, the agencies Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Team conducted Operation "I See You", focusing on child pornography cybertips, to determine the validity of just over 100 pending tips by conducting interviews, computer examinations, cell phone data extractions, and analyzing evidence. ASHEBORO NC. - A local man was arrested under felony child pornography charges after police executed a search warrant on his home in Seagrove.  According to an press release the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office's Criminal Investigation Division Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) received information that an individual by the they identified as Robbie Ray Snider was possessing/distributing numerous child pornography files. Robbie Ray Snider On April 21, 2021, a search warrant was executed at Snider’s home on Dunlap Dr., in Seagrove, NC.
