License Checkpoint Locates Stolen Gun / Drugs
ASHEBORO NC - A man is facing charges for allegedly possessing a stolen firearm and drugs after going through a license checkpoint last Friday.
According to the Randolph County Sherriff's office, on May 7, 2021, the Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a license checkpoint on Vision Drive in cooperation with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program. Deputies encountered a subject who they identified as Musin Shaborr Roberts. According to a press release they conducted an investigation that led to a search of the vehicle where the deputies recovered a stolen firearm, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.Roberts was transported to Randolph County Detention Center where he was charged with Felony Possession Stolen Firearm, Misdemeanor Carrying Concealed Gun, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana,...
