ASHEBORO N.C. - The third Monday of January each year the nation looks back at the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his work advocating for nonviolent activism in the Civil Rights Movement to protest racial discrimination in federal and state law. This year the federal holiday falls on January 15th, here is a list of events happening in Randolph County.
Eastside Improvement Association Community Breakfast
The Eastside Improvement Association will host its annual Martin L King Jr Community Breakfast on the morning of the 15th starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Central Gymnasium (621 Franks St in Asheboro).
