ASHEBORO N.C. - The City of Asheboro has announced they will be hosting Asheboro’s first Mariachi Festival on the first weekend in May. The festival is split across two days, with a paid concert featuring Latin GRAMMY-Winning female group Flor de Toloache on Friday May 5th at the Sunset Theater, followed by a free event Saturday May 6th at Bicentennial Park featuring local Mariachi bands from the Triad and Asheboro's own Ballet Folkloric Guadalupano.
