At around 2pm on Saturday June 10th, 2023, emergency crews responded to a report of a 2-vehicle crash in front of the McDonalds at 1436 N Fayetteville St, in Asheboro, N.C. According to an accident report by the Asheboro Police Department, Ashley Renee Phillips was attempting to make a left hand turn out of the parking lot of McDonalds onto N Fayetteville St (US 220 Bus) but failed to yield for an oncoming motorcycle. ASHEBORO N.C. - A suspect who allegedly robbed a McDonalds in Asheboro didn't make it far before being arrested last weekend. According to a police report from the Asheboro Police Department, on Sunday, Febuary 19th, 2023, just after 9 pm, officers responded to the McDonalds at 773 W Dixie Dr for a report of a robbery in progress. An employee told officers that a black male wearing white shirt, black hoodie, and blue jeans had entered the business and stolen an unknown amount of cash and they believed the male was armed with a handgun. Officers located a suspect matching the description walking through the parking lot of Arby’s, whom they identified as Jamon Trevon Dixon. Dixon was arrested without incident.
