Welfare Check at Asheboro McDonald’s Catches Suspect Red-Handed
ASHEBORO N.C. - An officer with the Asheboro Police Department who was called to check on two people slumped over in a car at a McDonald's walked up to an oblivious driver to catch her red handed preparing to use drugs.
On February 22nd, 2023, just before 6:30 pm, an officer with the Asheboro Police Department was called to the McDonald's at 1436 N Fayetteville St for a report of a male and female slumped over in a vehicle in the parking lot.
The officer arrived and approached the vehicle. In a report the officer noted he saw a male in the passenger seat slumped over.
