ASHEBORO N.C. - Police arrested a man last night after they we called to a local motel for a stabbing. On September 21st, 2022, just after 7:30 pm, the Asheboro Police Department were called to 827 Albemarle Road in reference to a stabbing.  According to officials with the police department, when officers arrived, they spoke with the victim who reported he had been assaulted. The officer noted wounds to the victim's head however they refused to be transported by EMS. Police say through their investigation officers were able to charge Kenneth Antonio Collins, a 27-year-old male from Aberdeen, with one count of assault inflicting serious bodily injury. Mr. Collins was also served with three separate warrants for failure to appear and is currently confined at the Randolph County J...
