Two Dead in Apparent Murder Suicide in Archdale
ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office is investigating what it believes to be a murder suicide that occurred overnight in Archdale.
According to a press release, at around 4:55 am this morning, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Huff Rd., Archdale. The caller reported being onthe phone with a male subject living on Huff Rd., who was threatening to shoot himself. Thecaller reported hearing a gunshot and the conversation ended.
When police arrived at the home no one responded, and deputies forced entry where they then located two male subjects in the residence. One subject was found to have stab wounds, the other subject hadbeen shot. Both men were pronounced dead on the scene.
