ASHEBORO N.C. - Four people have been charged after the Asheboro Police Departments Vice Narcotics unit conducted a search warrant on a home on N Elm St last month. Sometime in early January, Detectives with the Asheboro Vice/Narcotics unit say there were able to make a controlled purchase of crack cocaine using a confidential informant at a home on N. Elm St. Using evidence from that purchase police were able to obtain a search warrant for the home on Jan 13th 2022. On January 14th 2022, Detectives with the Asheboro Vice/Narcotics and Special Enforcement Team, executed that search warrant.
