TRAFFIC ALERT – Planned Nighttime Closure of US 421 This Week

LIBERTY N.C. - Nightly closures are planned for a stretch of U.S. 421 in Randolph County this week so contractors can work on a bridge.
Monday & Tuesday
Southbound US-421 will be closed with a detour on Monday (8/21/23) and Tuesday (8/22/23) nights from the hours of 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM to allow crews to set bridge girders for the construction of a new bridge at the Julian Airport Road interchange currently under construction.
South Bound traffic will detour onto Shiloh Road and will follow Shiloh Road back to US 421 South Bound. Detours will be signed to assist motorists.
