What You Need to Know About the Upcoming Municipal General Election

ASHEBORO N.C. - The 2023 Municipal General Election is coming up soon and there are new polling locations and changes to voter ID requirements you need to know if you plan to vote.
The Municipal General Election which includes include the mayor and members of the municipality’s governing board for Asheboro, Franklinville, High Point, Liberty, Ramseur, Randleman, Seagrove, Staley and Thomasville, as well as the Asheboro Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.
Registered voters who live within the boundaries of these municipalities and the Asheboro City Schools district may vote in the municipal election. Municipal contests may include the mayor and members of the municipality’s governing board.
