ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office and the Randolph County DA's Office say that no one will face charges after a man died from being stabbed after breaking in and assaulting a victim with a Domestic Violence Protective Order against him. On December 13th, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Stanton Rd for a call about an assault. Deputies spoke with the victim, who stated she had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend who had left the scene prior to the deputies' arrival. While completing the investigation on Stanton Rd, Randolph County 911 received a call on Thayer Rd about an assault in progress involving the same male subject and a different victim.
