Sheriff’s Office Charges Man with Embezzling from Local Baseball Club
ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office has charged a local man with embezzling several thousand dollars from a local baseball club.
On October 14th, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into suspected embezzlement after receiving a report from a local community baseball club.
According to a press release, that investigation led to investigators charging 37-year-old Jesse Lee Martin from Denton, NC, with one count of Felony Embezzlement on August 10th, 2023.
According to court records, Martin is accused of embezzling $3,600 from the Cedar Grove Baseball Club, a local little league organization.
