ASHEBORO, N.C. (City of Asheboro) – Registration is currently underway for the 2024 Randolph County Senior Games. The 2024 Games will be held March 6 – April 17. Randolph County Senior Games is a health and wellness promotion and education program for adult’s age 50 and better. Senior Games not only offers athletic events but the SilverArts, a program for artisans and craftspeople. While some participants are serious competitors, most are more interested in having fun, learning something new, and making new friends. ASHEBORO N.C. - Registration is now open for the annual Junior Amateur Golf Tournament in early August. The Asheboro Municipal Golf Course will be hosting the annual Junior Amateur Golf Tournament on August 5th and August 6th, 2023. The tournament is open to any junior golfer between 7-18 years of age. Participants will be divided into three age divisions that will be determined based on the number of entrants. The entry fee is $25 for all players, which includes two rounds of golf (the number of holes in each round will be proportional to each age group) and winning trophies.
